Overview

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in Martinsburg is looking for a Survey Technician to join our dynamic and multidisciplinary team. 

 

What You'll Do: As a Survey Technician, you'll be an essential part of our survey field crew, gaining hands-on experience with:

  • Topographic and Boundary Surveys: Assisting in mapping the Earth's surface and defining property lines.
  • Construction Stakeouts: Helping to precisely lay out sites for new construction projects.
  • Operating Modern Survey Equipment: Learning to use cutting-edge instrumentation.
  • Field Operations: Accurately recording data and preparing field sketches.
  • Data Management: Utilizing surveying software to gather, retrieve, interpret crucial data, and performing basic survey computations.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of related survey experience; 
  • Experience or practical knowledge of ALTA/NSPS Land Title Survey's preferred;
  • Associates or Bachelors in Survey Engineering, Geomatic Engineering, or other related field preferred; Highschool diploma required;
  • Ability to operate motorized equipment and possession of sufficient physical stamina to work outdoors under various field conditions; 
  • Valid Driver's License. 
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in the U.S. without sponsorship
