Solid Waste Landfill SEM Technician

 Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), is seeking a Solid Waste Landfill SEM Technician for our Chicago office.

• 2-6 years of applicable professional experience
• Must have experience and a basic knowledge of principles and practices of the operation of landfill systems
• Must be familiar with procedures and execution of surface emissions scanning and cap integrity reporting.
• Will work as a member of a project team(s) to complete specific assignments at a municipal solid waste landfill(s) throughout the US 
• 40 hour HAZWOPER certificate preferred
• Valid Driver’s License
• Must be competent in Microsoft Word and Excel and other technology associated with the work.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be willing to travel

The posting range for this position is between $22.93- $41.93 based on experience and location (in addition, CEC offers overtime pay and other great benefits)
