What you'll do:

• As an Ecologist for Civil & Environmental Consultants, you’ll work with project teams to navigate today’s complex environmental regulatory landscape, helping our commercial, institutional, and energy clients to achieve and maintain compliance with regulatory criteria.
• You’ll assist in wetland and stream delineation projects, prepare delineation reports, and assist with preparing permit applications.
• The majority of your time will be spent in the field, with office work as required.
• This position requires accasional weekend work for storm damage response.

• B.S. in a natural sciences field (e.g., Biology, Environmental Sciences, Ecology);
• 2+ years of experience in performing and/or leading wetland and stream delineations and evaluations;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills;
• 40-Hour Wetland delineation training

Opened in December 2023, CEC Charleston was born out of an opportunity to further serve the state of West Virginia.
