As a Water/Wastewater Engineer with our Water Resource Practice in Nashville, TN, you will contribute to a range of municipal and utility water projects, supporting the planning, design, and implementation of innovative infrastructure solutions. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop sustainable and cost-effective systems, helping communities address complex water and wastewater challenges. Project types may include water distribution and storage, water treatment facilities, sanitary sewer collection systems, wastewater treatment plants, and pump stations.

 

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare engineering reports, technical analyses, and design documentation
  • Develop detailed plans and specifications in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Assist with permit applications and coordination with regulatory agencies
  • Support project managers in the execution of deliverables, budgeting, and client communications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (M.S. preferred)
  • Engineering-in-Training (EIT) certification
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and AutoCAD
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
