This is a full-time role for a mid-to-upper-level Restoration Practitioner/Project Manager at Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. working within our Ecological Practice. This exciting position involves working directly with the Restoration Principal to collaboratively manage innovative stream, wetland, habitat, and vegetation restoration projects. At CEC, we utilize several design tools including natural channel design, nature-based solutions, form-based, and process-based projects.
In this role you will also serve as a mentor to junior staff and educate them on field data collection, developing design parameters, and implementation working directly with contractors. This position will also be responsible for business development, having flexibility to travel and recruit new clients and projects across the United States You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our offices and gain experience in new geographic regions! The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in fluvial geomorphology, sediment transport, stream and wetland ecology, and/or natural channel design.
