Overview

As a Water Resource Engineer-In-Training at Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you'll have the opportunity to learn from experienced engineers and work collaboratively in an employee-owned company while interacting with clients, contractors, regulators, and local government officials. At CEC, you will work on a wide range of projects with opportunities in stormwater design, watershed management, floodplain management, stream restoration, water quality protection, and Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) services.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform engineering design tasks on a variety of water resource projects;
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses to support design and assessment of surface water systems and infrastructure;
• Develop detailed plans, specifications, cost estimates, calculations, and reports, along with permit application support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil, Water Resources, Environmental, or Biosystems Engineering (or related field);
  • Engineer-in-Training certification or able to obtain;
  • 0-4 years of water resources engineering experience.
