Overview

As a Remote Sensing Manager for Civil & Environmental Consultants (CEC), you will lead a group of remote sensing field and office technicians and oversee LiDAR data processing on topographic and utility surveys within the Survey/Geospatial Practice. Additionally, you will review project deliverables and manage department resources to issue all project deliverables in a timely manner to support administrative, procurement, and construction activities. In this role, you'll communicate and coordinate with internal departments to achieve resolution of project-related activities, provide internal daily status reports of activities, write proposals, conduct business development activities, and execute special duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, GIS, Geomatics or other related discipline;
  • Minimum of 4 years experience effectively leading and growing a team with an emphasis on LiDAR data classification and extraction;
  • Experience in developing clients and project opportunities into actionable projects;
  • Skilled use of Microstation/Terrascan, TopoDOT, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS, Google Earth, and other mapping software;
  • Ability to work in a safe manner and obey safety regulations at all times;
  • Knowledge of surveying and mapping practices;
  • Ability to organize daily and weekly plans.
