Overview

As a Civil Engineering Project Manager for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you’ll manage project teams to create land development plans for our commercial, institutional, and residential clients. You'll take part in managing project, performing quality control, interfacing with clients, proposal preparation, and mentoring and supervising junior engineers for a variety of projects from urban redevelopment sites to suburban new school projects. In managing junior engineers, you will review the design of projects which will include site layouts, grading, stormwater management, erosion control, and utility design. Interacting with clients, contractors, local government officials, you’ll impact the whole project - from conceptual and design phases, through the regulatory review process, bidding, and construction, all the way to the grand opening.

 

Applicants will have an option to sit in either our Raynham, MA or Peabody, MA office locations.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years’ experience; or a relevant combination of experience and eduation;
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering (or related field), M.S. in Civil Engineering perferred;
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) in MA preferred;
  • Experience in scope of service and budget (proposal) development, and demonstrated ability to manage projects profitably;
  • Ability to develop and mentor staff;
  • Ability to provide a technical review of Civil Engineering deliverable;
  • Ability to prepare proposals and manage project execution; and
  • Ability to interface with clients, network, and develop business.
