If desired we offer a flexible hybrid work schedule of 2 days work-from-home or 1 day off every other week. As a Water Resources Engineer for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) you will be part of a growing team assisting with the design of water infrastructure for local oil and gas clients. You will have the opportunity to develop projects in West Virginia and the Tri-State area as well as collaborate with colleagues at multiple office locations to provide project services to clients in the oil and gas, public sector, and mining markets. You will take part in the design, hydraulic modeling, permitting, and the CQA inspection of various projects. You will be interacting with clients, contractors, local government officials and will impact the whole project - from conceptual/planning and design phases, through the regulatory review process, bidding, construction - all the way through project completion and delivery of a functional operation.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience;
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering, with experience in Oil and Gas water storage and transfer; 
  • E.I.T. preferred;
  • Ability to perform field site visit and walk across rugged terrain;
  • Experience with Federal, State and local permitting;
  • Experience with hydraulic modeling pressure pipe networks;
  • Experience with WV AST regulations and/or AST inspection;
  • Experience with AutoCAD;
  • Ability to provide a technical review of Civil Engineering deliverables;
  • Ability to interface with clients and contractors.
