Overview

As a Project Consultant for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you will work within our Civil Engineering Practice as a member of our Transportation Group. You will work with project teams to perform traffic impact studies for our commercial, institutional, industrial, and energy clients. You will take part in collecting data, performing traffic analyses, and designing improvements for a wide variety of projects that include anything from single intersections to large commercial and industrial developments. You will work with experienced Project Managers to prepare Traffic Impact Study reports and design traffic signals, and you will have the opportunity to interact with clients, contractors, and local and state government officials. 

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Civil or Traffic Engineering;
  • 2-5 years of professional engineering experience;
  • E.I.T. preferred;
  • Proficiency in Highway Capacity Software and Synchro/SimTraffic;
  • Ability to speak and write professionally; and
  • Willingness to learn new skills and work in a team setting.
