Solid Waste Engineer/Principal

As a Solid Waste Engineering Principal for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you'll be responsible for marketing and managing services to a broad range of clients with an emphasis in the Municipal Solid Waste Market. You will demonstrate a focus on business development, sales and marketing obligations, as well as maintaining budget and technical management responsibilities. This individual will assist in the expansion of services and clients as well as build a practice serving clients in the Municipal Solid Waste Market.

• B.S. in Civil, Environmental, or Geotechnical Engineering, or Geology (MS is a plus);
• 15+ years of engineering consulting experience;
• Professional Engineering License (P.E.);
• Demonstrated client development and management success;
• Ability to develop and mentor staff;
• Technical expertise to prepare and review construction documents, including specifications;
• Experience with preparation of proposals and statements of qualification;
• AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Excel, Word, HydroCAD and other computer modeling software a plus.
