As a CAD Technician for Civil & Environmental Consultants Inc. (CEC), for the Water and Wastewater Group, you'll be working on a wide variety of water and wastewater infrastructure improvements projects.  The Water and Wastewater Group is typically the lead project discipline completing the project assignment for the Client.  Other technical disciplines (Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural) will work to complete the W/WW Group’s solution to the problem.  Projects may include: Water Transmission Mains, Gravity Sewer lines, Water Booster Stations, Sewer Lift Stations, Wastewater Treatment Plants, Water Treatment Plants and Water Storage Tanks.  You will work from detailed sketches and verbal or written direction to produce computer-generated to-scale engineering drawings, cross-sections, details, figures, graphs, charts, overlays and simple isometric drawings. You will work with talented project team members to support and help you grow as a professional. The work product CEC produces is the Plan for a Contractor to use to literally - “change the world”.  We would love to talk to you about this exciting opportunity.

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree from Technical College;
  • Preferred degree: Computer Aided Design, Engineering-Architectural Technology, Civil-Construction Technology or similar program;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Good analytical, mathematical, and problem solving skills.
