As an Air Quality Engineer/Scientist for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you will be directly involved with work under the direction of senior staff to assist clients in the oil and gas, manufacturing, power, and waste industries to obtain air quality permits, and maintain compliance with applicable regulatory obligations related to air emissions and/or air permits. Primarily office work will be involved; however, field work may be involved periodically. Field services may include site visits to industrial facilities, visible evaluation of air emissions, ambient air monitoring, real-time instrument measurements of air pollutant concentrations, and other activities as directed. Office services will require strong analytical and good communication skills to evaluate data, perform calculations, learn and apply environmental regulations, communicate with agency personnel, and prepare regulatory submittals.
