Geotechnical Engineer/Assistant Project Manager

As a Geotechnical Assistant Project Manager for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc., you’ll be part of a highly trained and experienced team that performs investigations and analyzes subsurface information to develop recommendations for the design of earthwork, foundations, retaining walls, mine stabilization, landslide repair, and other geotechnical aspects of commercial, institutional, and industrial projects.  The projects can range from a parking lot, natural gas plant, new school, to an entire lifestyle shopping center.  You’ll be responsible for directing test drilling, developing laboratory testing programs, performing analyses, and assisting with proposals and reports.  At times, you’ll also assist with geotechnical construction monitoring.

• B.S. in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical emphasis.
• 3+ years’ professional engineering experience.
• Ability to speak and write professionally.
• E.I.T. or FE certification.
