Transportation Designer/Engineer

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) - Bridgeport Office is seeking a candidate to assist in the expansion of the firm’s transportation and bridge engineering services. We are looking for a self-motivated highway designer with knowledge of department of highway standards, calculations and plan production. As a Transportation Designer or Engineer for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you’ll take part in design of roadway improvements and new construction from start to finish including layout, calculations, construction plan production, bid quantities and cost estimates.

• 2+ years' experience in the design of highways;
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural is a plus;
• Knowledge of Civil 3D and experience with Corridors;
• Knowledge of Microstation OpenRoads is a plus;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Knowledge of DOH standards and specifications.
