As an Air Quality Project Manager with CEC, you will be part of a local team and a company Air Quality Services Practice performing a variety of services in support of state and federal permit applications and compliance with various regulatory programs. You will manage and support  projects involving air quality permits including, managing operations and maintenance data, preparing proposals and budgets, preparing source testing protocols and overseeing source testing, managing field technicians collecting data required by facility permits, meeting and coordinating with clients to obtain and understand project information, communicating with agency personnel, and evaluating control technologies for client facilities. 

 

Collaborating with your colleagues you will identify opportunities for growth including participating in business development and marketing efforts, and implement marketing and sales strategies to provide sustainable growth of the Practice.  You will work with other Practices within CEC to provide an integrated service approach to addressing our client's needs.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years consulting, compliance, or industry experience; Knowledge of various State and USEPA air quality regulations;
  • B.S. or M.S. in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Meteorology, or related fields;
  • Experience with landfill gas collection systems, emissions recovery, AQ compliance tracking and reporting;
  • Experience managing technical air services related projects, either as a consultant or in industry requiring these services;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; and
  • Competent in managing projects and permits subject to USEPA 40 CFR Part 60 WWW/XXX.
