Civil & Environmental Consultants Inc. (CEC), an employee owned consulting firm, is seeking a surveyor to be part of our expanding Survey and Geospatial Practice. We offer challenging projects and growth opportunities that will allow you to demonstrate attention to detail throughout the survey process, assist a Licensed Surveyor with a variety of projects, schedule crew and project assignments, develop deed work maps and base maps, and conduct courthouse research to collect right of way property information. You will use your knowledge of ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, Oil and Gas surveys, Pipeline Surveying, Topographic Mapping, Courthouse Research, Boundary Surveys, Construction Layout, and GPS surveys to contribute to the project's success. The majority of your time will be in the office, but occasional fieldwork may occur.
Here is what you will need:
• 3-10 years' related experience;
• Knowledge of survey field procedures;
• Valid Driver's License.
Here is what we would like to see:
• Associates degree in Survey Engineering or a related field
• Knowledge of pipeline surveying methods and practices;
• Experience with AutoCAD, Carlson Survey or Civil 3D;
• Knowledge of Trimble software and GPS Equipment;
• Survey-in-Training (SIT) Certification a plus.
