As a Landfill CQA Technician for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you'll work in the Waste Management practice in our Phoenix, AZ office. This is a full-time position with the responsibility of performing Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) services to observe, document and monitor construction activities associated with landfill construction. Projects will include cell liner systems, cell final closure cap systems, and other appurtenances related solid waste management facilities. You will work as a member of the project CQA team, and at times independently, to evaluate whether the completed construction meets governing project specifications and regulatory permit conditions. You will perform field testing of various construction materials, and secure samples of materials that are laboratory tested to confirm compliance with project specifications. You will also work closely with the CEC project manager to prepare the as-built documentation needed to certify completed work. Travel is required for project services.
