Overview

As a Water Resource Engineer for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you'll participate in field work related to erosion and sediment control inspections, visual stream assessments, stormwater input and outfall mapping.  There will also be an office component focused on preparing Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP), water quality permit applications, basic hydrologic and hydraulics, and basic stormwater management and compliance. Additionally, you will interact with other CEC peers in the civil/site, geotechnical, and environmental groups to develop these components of design.

 

 

Qualifications

  • B.S. Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering;
  • Experience with water resources projects in one or more of the following areas: hydrology and hydraulics, stormwater management and compliance, and/or producing engineering drawings;
  • P.E. license preferred;
  • Experience with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HydroCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, Microstation would be a plus;
  • 10 Hour OSHA training a plus.
